SPORTS MEDICINE
Our physician works with athletes and non-athletes to treat and diagnose both sports and non-sports-related injuries. Our clinic is fortunate enough to work with our sports physician and physiotherapist both pre and post operation if needed. Sports Physicians referrals can be booked within two-three weeks to provide greater quality of care.
PHYSIOTHERAPY
We take a global approach to your pain by taking a look at your entire body and not just the source of your pain to properly diagnose the root cause of your injury and how to efficiently treat it. Our physiotherapists are also trained to recognize and manage abnormal movement patterns that may be a source for your pain — we don’t mask the symptoms, rather we work towards investigating the root cause.
CHIROPRACTIC TREATMENT
Our chiropractors use their expertise of the muscular and nervous systems to stimulate responses to aid in your recovery. They use their skills in spinal manipulation to help relieve everything from back pain to preventing disorders of the spine and joints.
MASSAGE THERAPY
Massage Therapy is a great form of relaxation and relief from muscle tension and stress but it can also reduce or eliminate pain from chronic or acute conditions. Massage Therapy improves circulation, joint mobility, and improves the functioning of your immune system. It is beneficial to people of all ages.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a safe, non-invasive therapy used to promote healing and reduce pain. Acupuncture treatment involves needles that are very fine, flexible and slide smoothly through tissue so they don’t cause bleeding or tissue damage. They are inserted into the skin at specific points in the body. Acupuncture has been known to provide effective, natural treatment for many conditions, including headaches, back and neck pain, digestive difficulties, anxiety and stress.
Chiropody
A chiropodists is skilled in assessing the needs of patients and of managing both chronic and acute conditions affecting foot and lower limb function. Chiropodist provide care to a diverse range of patients while specializing in multiple areas such as nail care, foot pain, gait analysis, skin conditions and diabetic foot care.
Shockwave Therapy
Shockwave therapy is a high-intensity sound wave that engages different tissues throughout your body. This leads to a host of benefits, including neovascularization ingrowth, cessation of chronic inflammation, stimulation of collagen and dissolution of calcium deposits. Stimulation of these parts of your body creates an optimal healing environment. As the injured area heals, functionality is restored and pain is relieved throughout your body.
